The Undergrads

The Undergrads’ is a mockumentary show following the crazy everyday life of bunch of highly flawed uni students. Think ‘fresh meat’ meets ‘The office’, With influences from ‘New girl’. The show is a coming of age story tackling themes of ‘acceptance’, ‘Love’ and ‘chosen family’.

This show aims to bold by pushing boundaries in a tasteful way, not being afraid to be crude or explicit. We feel there is an excessive amount of ‘red tape’ in the current industry when it comes to comedy shows, and we hope to change this. The decreasing amount of good sitcoms or mockumentarys has gotten dire. We hope that by using dark and risky humour in a tasteful and well intended way, we can bring back comedy shows to the pinnacle they were before. This show aims to do what ‘it’s always sunny in Philadelphia’ did for the USA, but for us here in Britain. I hope you all can join us in this journey to getting comedy shows back and thriving.

The project started a peace we did for a university assessment. However after @jordanscotkenady heavily suggested we should take this further, we are now turning this into an entire mini series. The seris will follow these characters developing as they grow, and I hope you will all join us for the ride.
